Frequently Asked Questions About Our Packages
How do I choose between the MSP Essential, Business, and Strategic plans?
The choice depends on three factors: the size of your team, your level of risk exposure, and your need for strategic guidance. The Essential plan is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses with 3 to 14 employees who want to secure their environment without unlimited support. The Business plan is designed for companies with 10 to 25 employees who need a daily IT point of contact and advanced backups. The Strategic plan is designed for organizations with 25 or more employees for whom IT has become a governance issue, and includes a disaster recovery plan, annual cybersecurity training, and executive support (vCIO, vCISO, vCTO). During the initial assessment, we’ll work with you to determine which plan best fits your situation.
What does “unlimited support” in the MSP Business plan actually mean?
Unlimited support covers all routine IT operations: user support via phone, email, or on-site visits; incident resolution; access and license management; and support for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Large-scale projects, such as a complete server migration, the deployment of a new ERP system, or a business relocation, are not included in the standard package—they are subject to separate proposals for planning and resource allocation purposes. This distinction is clarified in our service agreements.
What is the difference between a managed plan and the À La Carte – Basic IT plan?
An MSP package is a proactive approach that includes ongoing support: we monitor your environment 24/7, anticipate incidents, manage your technology lifecycle, and take action without you having to ask. The À La Carte – IT Basic plan is designed for companies that already have an in-house IT team or prefer to handle user support themselves. You benefit from proactive maintenance, managed backups, EDR cybersecurity, and workstation monitoring, but without unlimited support included. The choice depends on your level of technical autonomy and the complexity of your environment.
At what point should you switch from one plan to another?
Three signs indicate that it’s time to move forward: your team is approaching or exceeding the employee range of your current plan, your regulatory exposure is increasing (Bill 25, industry-specific compliance, demanding client contracts), or you find that your IT is holding back your business decisions due to a lack of strategic vision. The transition between plans occurs without any loss of service or major reconfiguration, since higher-tier plans include all the components of lower-tier plans.
How does the onboarding process for a new MSP plan work?
Onboarding begins with a comprehensive analysis of your existing environment: an inventory of your assets, a security audit, and a mapping of your software and integrations. We then deploy our monitoring and management tools, configure backups based on your risk level, and train your team on support channels. The duration varies depending on the complexity of your infrastructure, but most small and medium-sized businesses are fully integrated within two to four weeks, with no operational downtime.
Do the packages include compliance with Law 25?
All of our packages include the technical foundations for compliance with Law 25: data encryption, access management, compliant backups, and logging. The Strategic MSP package takes support a step further with vCISO governance that monitors your compliance posture over time. For regulated industries (healthcare, professional services, finance), our industry-specific modules add a specialized layer: annual compliance audits, training, support for line-of-business software, and tailored documentation policies.
Is there a minimum contractual commitment?
We work with service agreements that clearly define the scope of services, service levels (SLAs), and termination terms. The commitment period varies depending on the plan and the initial investments required for onboarding. This structure ensures your service continuity while giving you the flexibility to adjust your plan as your business grows. The specific terms are presented and discussed before signing, with no surprises.
